This mouse worked immediately upon plugging it into a USB port. Oddly enough, the old, original mouse, which was plugged into the mouse jack, also worked simultaneously (xp, sp3). I installed the driver from [...] and have the option of setting three joysticks and two buttons to any key combination I want. So far, I have these temporarily set to null. One of the most useful features is the ability to change pixel sensitivity. While holding in the right joystick button (straight in), simultaneously press both the left buttons (not the left joystick). Every time you do this, it increases the sensitivity until you reach the max, after which, it continues to cycle starting at the slowest value (400dpi). At max, you barely touch the mouse and the pointer moves a foot! This mouse works on virtually any surface.

if someone could make decent software fo this mouse, it would be my favorite. however, i have yet to ge a game to recognize the joysticks. for those that like large mice, it's great.
