I just received this keyboard. It's just a regular keyboard with brightly colored keys. The colors are cheerful in my home-office, and my 6 month old son really wanted to bang on it after I started using it -- so it's a winner that way! :-)

As for the feel, I found the keys to be light and smooth. I personally find it to be slightly better than the typical keyboard. It's nowhere near as light-feeling as an Apple keyboard, but I'd certainly be comfortable using this keyboard long-term at the office. I personally prefer keyboards with light/fast feeling keys -- so I have different tastes that the reviewer who liked the keyboard except for the light keys. I like the feel of this keyboard -- it's competent and I found the feel to be a modest step above the Dynex keyboard that it replaced.

I give the keyboard 4 stars because it's just a competent keyboard with brightly colored keys and really isn't anything special. It's exactly what I wanted, though, and I'm... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Bottomline: kids wanted it, March 14, 2012

The keyboard itself looks full-sized. Marketing material says fit kids fingers, but I find it same (or close to same) size as my Dell desktop keyboard. Typist can type just fine. There is no (or muted) sound from pressing the keys down, which gives the illusion that the keys are soft. But in reality I don't feel the key easier to push down or harder to bounce back.

There is one possible concern for those with higher desktops or keyboard trays. There is no flip-on tab to raise the back of the keyboard. There is only couple of flat rubber feet (a (approx 1mm in height) to prevent sliding.

We in the family has a lot of good functional keyboards already and didn't really need this for my grade-level child. He's already used to regular keyboard, but just love see the colors. He wants it so bad. So that in itself was a must get. Oh what a loving parent does for spoiling...

2.0 out of 5 stars does not last, August 17, 2011
This review is from: LearningBoard (Electronics)
Great colorful keyboard for kids to learn where vowels, consonants, numbers are. But it's not made to last. After about a year of light use, several keys started becoming unresponsive, in random places on the keyboard. It think it has something to do with an problem in the circuitry, not a mechanical problem with the keys themselves. Buyer beware.
