This mouse is great. It tracks well, the feet are fantastic, glides smoothly, the scroll wheel feels tight (in a good way) and well-made, the cable is a really nice, high-quality braided design, and everything feels really balanced and sturdy. The reason why it's a 4-star is because it can be pretty small for people with large hands. I usually have a fingertip-style grip, and this gets kinda tiring with this mouse after a few hours. However, one of the things I like the most about the mouse is the finish on top of it. It's a nice, satin rubberized sorta matte finish. Feels very good, soft, comfy, and grippy, even with sweaty hands, regardless of grip. Seriously good mouse.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works for me, August 12, 2010

Ergonomics: I think Kinzu is tailored for small/ medium handed users with a claw or finger tip grip. So basically my hand is 19 cm long and I use a fingertip grip. The balanced shape and light weight works for me as it give me a firm grip and faster reaction.

Performance: I had been using Razer Deathadder for about 4 years with the 1800 dpi setting. This 3200 cpi setting from Kinzu is just way too sensitive for me. Thus I tune it down to 1600 cpi. With this setting, there is no positive acceleration as stated by some users. I guess Kinzu probably works better with the high sensitivity setting. Using a razer megasoma with Kinzu, I don't notice any drag. Nothing good or bad in term of the gliding.

Function: No extra function. I don't mind that too much, but I know some users hated mouse without the side buttons.

I guess Kinzu works best for small/ medium handed users with a claw or finger tip grip who uses medium to high sensitivity settings... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Possibly plauged by manufacturing defects., November 5, 2011

I loved this mouse when I first got it. Like pretty much all of Steel Series' gear, it's minimalist in design compared to other gaming companies like Razer, in that it's not equipped with flashing LEDs or anything like that, which is why I tend to like Steel Series products. I absolutely love the form factor of this mouse, it fits great in my hand and doesn't cause any discomfort for hours on end. The all matte-black finish is sexy to look at and provides a great grippy feel to the mouse without showing finger prints.

The mouse wheel also functions great- not overly sensitive, not dull, but with great feedback. The mouse has no extra buttons with the exception of the DPi button which I never really use. If you're looking for a mouse with more buttons... Well, you're probably looking elsewhere already.

As far as the physical aspects go, this mouse is an easy 5/5, especially considering the price. And that's the score I would give it if it weren't for it's other... Read more
