It's a nice mouse and certainly worth the money.Re: the previous viewers comment about the size of the mouse. Maybe it is small for a gaming mouse, I wouldn't know. But it is actually equal to or slightly larger than normal, everyday mice, like, for example, my Logitech M505. My real reason for posting has to do with Mac compatibility. It does work on a Mac. It performs the main mouse-like functions: the pointer moves; the right and left buttons work as they should; the mouse wheel scrolls; when in your browser, pressing down on the wheel while pointing to a book mark or a link takes you to the relevant site. The two side buttons do exactly the same thing. And so does nudging or tipping the wheel to the right. Finally, pressing on the little LED thingy changes the dpi level. AND it... With this said, I would rate this product 4 out of 5 stars. And so I will explain now.The Raptor-Gaming LM2 is a small mouse, produced in China and marketed in Germany, the United States, and the UK. The mouse is somewhat small, and may need a little time to get used to. It is also wired, thus saving the user from the need to purchase batteries for similar mice that are wireless. The Raptor-Gaming LM2 is black with textured side grips. It has a forward and backward button on the left side, slightly higher than some other mice. As a result, this product is geared towards right-handed people or perhaps lefties with a really well adapted pinky finger. There are also the typical buttons common to Windows mice; Left, Right, and Wheel/Center. There is an LED light below the wheel indicating the dPI level... Works out of the box, on Linux at least, and works great. It says it allows you to switch between 500, 1000, and 2000 dpi which is great and it has an led to let you know what the current dpi is, though the led has 4 options but the manual only has 3, but whatever,as long as it works lol. It has a nice durable cord, though it is much too long for a laptop user like me, but I suppose that's necessary for desktop machines. It has a nice size and weight, too, small enough to be relatively portable, but big enough to be comfortable. It is comfortable to use and it is also looks nice. Im not a huge gamer, but it seems to work pretty well in games, though im so used to a trackpad, switching to a mouse is hard and I can't tell if it is good or not, but it seems to work really well. Great price to, for what you get. I would recommend this mouse to any casual gamer or other area needing precision like 3d modeling or something. |
