For those who don't know who Raptor gaming is, they're a German manufacturer in gaming products and we know how well made German products are, you're gonna love their nuts. The raptor gaming LK1 keyboard offers technology that OTHER companies would add a 20 - 30$ more price tag on, that is their anti ghosting technology which allows you to press up to 6 keys at once without dropping, water resistance which I wouldn't recommend going swimming with it but you can assure it will survive that morning cup of coffee dump and why not quickly clean it using their key removing tool that beats using a butter knife to pop them out. The keys have a nice soft feel as well as low sound when pressed so people in your house hold will not hear you typing in the next room which is always a plus. The few things you will notice that stands out are the WASD and Direction Arrow keys are red to which I find is a very nice touch. While you may not see them in the pitch black room most of us game in but maybe in a dim lighted room you will find them easily. Which brings me to another feature; this keyboard allows you to remove the keys with a tool, this can help out very well if you find yourself in the habit of pressing the wrong keys that can ruin your match very fast. I find this to be a plus, as you can now remove that pesky "Window's Key" and send it into oblivion as well as the "Caps Lock" key. Removing them can take some effort and it will be wise to have the desktop showing and all windows closed that way... It's sturdy and lightweight. It's waterproof (did not have a chance to prove it). WASD and arrow keys are red but can easily be changed back to black ones if you prefer. All the keys on the keyboard are removable with the help of the key extractor; removing one will disable the key in question. Gamers who enjoys the symphony of clickity clacks will be disappointed as the Raptor LK1 keys are silent when depressed. Key travel is short, allowing for easy spamming (SC2 anyone?). Keyboard layout needs a bit of time to get used to. For starters, the shift key size is cut in half. So if you rely on the shift key when playing games, be prepared to adapt.
