5.0 out of 5 stars A Nice Surprise, March 29, 2012

So I didn't expect much from this controller to be honest. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived however. The controller has a nice weight to it and it doesn't feel like a cheap piece of plastic like other controllers I've tried. The black area on the grips is also rubber and not plastic. All the buttons have a nice bounce back and it responds nicely. Analog stick is also tight and responsive. The turbo, auto, and clear buttons are all easy to program and figure out though it didn't come with instructions. It has worked with every emulator I've tried it on as well. It came with an install disc but it was a straight plug and play for me on Windows 7. The only downside I found was the packaging it arrived in. It and the install disc were just put into a padded envelope...no shell. I had no issue but I could see this item being easily damaged during shipping. Other than that though this controller is better than ones I have paid up to twice as much for. I doubt you will find... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Workable, not the best, but perfect for it's price., February 24, 2012

When I received this, the packaging was damaged. The corner of the plastic was actually broken in such a fashion that I didn't need scissors or a knife to get into it. Just grabbed the broken edges and pulled.

The controller itself was undamaged and looks awesome. Exactly like the picture. As a side note, the black accents are rubber, not plastic, so there's a plus.

I've tested it on Bloodrayne(the first one) and Abe's Odyssee. Bloodrayne seems to have an issue with calibration so I couldn't use it with that one. Abe, however, was perfect. Getting used to the controls is a little tricky, since each game seems to mark the buttons differently and the buttons on the controller are numbered, rather than x,y,a,b.

As far as how well it works, it's functional. It's not the -best- controller I've ever handled, but it's good for being a $12 device that comes with the added aesthetics. The only issue I ran into is that the up button on the + pad sticks. It... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Pleased, May 8, 2012

This controller would be a good one, if it worked. I have tested in on several games and so far none of them work. Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Skyrim are the games I have tested it on so far and the only thing my computer will recognize is the keyboard controls. I don't know if it's me doing something wrong or not, but the controller should have came with instructions so that this kind of problem could be avoided. This is the first time I have tried to set one of these up, so I am open to suggestions at brandon.madonna@gmail.com, but so far, I am not pleased at all.
