It's not JUST 5 macro buttons, its actually a totally of 12 because the thumb modifiers can be assigned to do anything. Everyone has been complaining about sticky keys, dim backlighting, and just the overall quality of the board... I have to disagree... I've owned many mechanical boards from Rosewill to Ducky, and I can in fact say that this being a Rubber Dome doesn't make my fingers cry and bleed. As a matter of fact, I enjoy typing on it. The keys have a nice travel distance and have an odd tactile response... not that of a mechanical but you KNOW when you press the key from what appears to be a slight flick inside.I will continue this review by discussing some of the attributes. Anti Ghosting- Up to 6 keys. I have about 4 keyboards that anti ghost on all 100+ keys... I dont really tell a difference. I have five fingers when playing a game, and even when typing I don't mash the word "Bonerific" all at the same... Had no problems with the lighting or function so far. easy to use and easy to program macros if your into that thing. Brilliant for the game I play, Eve Online. Using those extra buttons for my media to play, Vent, Fraps, Taking screenshots and making sure that my weapon and target locking also corresponds to the key shortcuts I like. Very stoked with my purchase. However, I held off buying it as the first reviews did not seem positive. So I waited, and waited, and waited...until I finally picked one up this past October. When I plugged it in, I played it for about a week and then put my old keyboard back on. I remember thinking to myself, 'Why would I need so many keybindings? Surely I can just use Shift and CTRL and I'll be all set.'However, after returning to my old keyboard, I noticed how much of an advantage the Anansi had given me in dungeons, in raids, in PvP, and pretty much every aspect of gameplay. The way I set my UI up complemented the Anansi's T1-T5 buttons, and allowed me to put all the skills I'd need on the screen, as well as some others, like fishing and my professions (instead of going through the spellbook).
